Event Information

French engineering and geosciences industry professionals and their friends are invited to attend the French Engineers in BC “Back to Work” Event!

For that event following the summer, Gillian Pichler, P.Eng., Director of Registration at APEGBC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC), has kindly accepted to offer a presentation about APEGBC for our French Engineers of BC group.

Gillian is responsible for all registration and licensing activities at APEGBC and is involved in national and international activities at Engineers Canada. She graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and has an MBA from Concordia University. Prior to joining APEGBC, Ms. Pichler was in charge of Facilities, Plant & Production Engineering at Gillette Canada, Montreal for 16 years.

She will be able to discuss the APEGBC registration steps for new members, for experienced engineers as well as junior engineers. She will also briefly go through the Competency Reporting System and the Professional Exam to become a P.Eng., and answer your questions.
