Event Information
On Saturday, June 6 citizens all over the world put their cumulative powers together to reclaim the streets and public spaces by setting up simple positive actions in their cities under the common name of 100in1Day: Urban Interventions advocating through art, raising awareness and giving back to community to celebrate neighbourhoods and promote comfort in urban settings.
In 2012, the event was spurred by Dutch students on an exchange in Columbia that wanted to launch 100 positive actions in 1 day.
Now we are making the connection to bring it all back to the Dutch Urban Design and Development Centre to reflect on this year’s event and to learn how active citizenship can make our cities happy and vibrant.
Join us for a post-event discussion of positive change that is brought to you by a Vancouverite.
