I have always been a big fan of “The Art of” events. From the Art of Marketing, to the Art of Leadership, this organizing group recruits sensational personalities to their events.

If you haven’t heard that the Art of Leadership is returning to Vancouver - then let this be your warning. Get your ticket. NOW. We are so impressed with the stellar speakers they have lined up for the April 11th event in Vancouver, that we decided to give you our TOP 5 Reasons you need to attend.

1. MARCUS! As we mentioned, the calibre of speakers is second to none at this event. Our favourite and most stand out speaker being Marcus Buckingham, author of New York Times Bestselling Author of First, Break All the Rules & Now, Discover Your Strengths. Have you read it? We have, and it was a game changer for us. Highly recommend you read the book + then come see Marcus on April 11th.

2. SPECIAL RATE! NetworkinginVan has been offered a special rate of $50 off the cost of the Art of Leadership. To take advantage of this offer, click here and when you’re checking out be sure to put NIV in the promotional code area.

3. DAN! Dan Pontefract is the man. And….he’s a local boy! Currently Dan is the Head of Learning and Collaboration at TELUS, based in Vancouver. His new book “Flat Army” is getting some early love (and it hasn’t even hit the shelves yet). We have heard him speak before and he’s a dynamic, sharp and brilliant speaker. Dan’s talk will surely inspire you to both learn + practice on how to become a “Connected” leader.

4. LIVE EVENT! At NIV, we are all about continuing to develop ourselves - both professionally and personally. We’re excited about the fact that the Art of Leadership will undoubtedly help us in both ways. Take it from Seth Godin, LIVE EVENTS are the best way to help us get motivated for change and growth.

5. NETWORKING! We like to think of networking as a by-product of professional development events. You go to an event to learn, be inspired and leave the event with key takeaways you’re going to implement at work. At the same time, you meet some very cool like-minded people who are interested in doing the same. Win. Win. Be sure to bring business cards and follow up.

To take advantage of a special rate for the NIV community, click here and use NIV as your promotional code.

See you on April 11th!
