Event Information

The first annual Young Entrepreneurs Symposium aims to provide young people (40 and under) in business with streetwise/practical ideas that they can immediately incorporate into their businesses. The event will feature five speakers, all with varied backgrounds, from the business community who all own active businesses and all advise business owners in their respective areas of expertise. Each speaker will address three topics that they are passionate about with the goal that their stories and experiences will resonate with everyone on some level.

In its inaugural year, the Young Entrepreneurs Symposium is being hosted by Digby Leigh & Company in partnership with the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. The half-day event will be held at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier on June 5th, 2014. There will be a reception after which will run from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with complimentary hors d’oeuvres. This will serve as a nice opportunity to connect with the speakers and other attendees. Because we expect the attendees to be on the run as they arrive, there will also be a light complimentary sandwich lunch which will be ready when you arrive. The speakers will start presenting at 12:30pm.
