For the past 14.5 years, Wayne Drury has been working with the Lax Kw’alaams Band. He holds the position of Administrator, and CEO of the Lax Kw’alaams Group of companies, including Coast Tsimshian Resources.
Previous work experience includes more than 16 years as Woods Manager for a number of forest companies in British Columbia and international experience in Chile. Drury now lives in Vancouver and focuses within CTR on the issues that all the forest industry face to satisfy corporate and strategic goals, while meeting corporate sustainable responsibilities.
Most recently, he has been working with a highly skilled team in the exciting area of LNG Project Development in the Prince Rupert area. Lax Kw’alaams interests are to ensure that projects are developed in responsible manner while bringing training, employment and economic benefits to the Lax Kw’alaams members, their business partners, as well as, to the northwest in general.
Drury also sits on the Boards of the Gwitchin Development Corporation, Embark Engineering LP and Prince Rupert Constructors LP.
