At NetworkingInVan.com, we have crafted a Training and Employment Program to initiate anyone with the basic skills or desire to achieve them, so that they (and we) can grow quickly through specific roles and tasks using comprehensive training and real world practical experience by contributing to a live production of a Content Website Business.

• 3 Months (TRAINING EXCHANGE) – Start as an intern in Associate Producer role working under a Producer
• 6 Months – Switch to a full-time Producer on your assigned project

Upon successful completion of the Intern Training (9 months) you may be offered a position as a Full-time Employee or you can contribute to any of our properties as a PAID Contractor accumulating income and ownership for each action you take.

Through this program, you learn the real world process of online business building that has a real world value that our clients pay over $13,707 to receive in services and/or training provided. You’ll learn how to do this process for yourself and become a true independent business owner of a Content Website Business.

During the first 3 Months of Training Exchange, you'll receive a $3,000 value training course that is mandatory and delivered during the process of your working schedule. During the next 6 months (if you graduate which 95% of participants do), you'll be placed in a graduate position, and continue to receive over this training workload at no cost to you.

You’ll learn enough to replace a high paying job, and potentially a position on our team at a full salary plus benefits. If you should choose to be more entrepreneur than executive you can reproduce our training in your own projects and make your own Money Making Websites independently from our company, and based on all that you learned through the program.

Job Description

The EDITORIAL PRODUCER INTERN will contribute to the daily management of author communication, editorial reviews, article writing, article optimization and publishing on NetworkingInVan.com. The EDITORIAL PRODUCER INTERN role includes but is not limited to the following:

• Daily communication with Networking In Vancouver Contributing Authors using WordPress editorial management software
• Daily management of content calendar, article editing, optimization and publishing on NetworkingInVan.com
• Daily production of original content including list articles, review articles, daily news syndication articles and weekly news digest articles
• Bi-Weekly production of the Networking In Vancouver newsletter
• Assist in the production of monthly webinars and live Q&A;’s
• Research, documenting and scheduling of interviews with business professionals in Vancouver
• Management of Networking In Vancouver databases and job posting inquiries
• Weekly reporting on valuable metrics and actionable insights for keyword optimization, blog engagement and website growth

As an EDITORIAL PRODUCER INTERN, the majority of your time will be spent working remotely and collaborating with Networking In Vancouver management using multiple online communication tools including Google Hangout, Google Docs, Basecamp, Hootsuite, WordPress (Edit Flow Plugin), etc. The EDITORIAL PRODUCER will report to the PUBLISHER/COO.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

Networking In Vancouver is looking for a passionate EDITORIAL PRODUCER INTERN with online publishing experience, strong communication and writing skills. We need someone with demonstrated experience working with WordPress websites and the ability to manage a team of authors while meeting daily publishing deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Command of English Language: Speak, Read and Write English Very Well
2. Excellent General Computer Skills (Browsing, Social Networking, Searching, Typing Skills, etc.)
3. Experience with Document Building: Word Processors, Spreadsheets, Databases, Google Docs, etc.
4. Excellent creative writing skills, a proven passion for blogging
5. Demonstrated proof of social media experience, engagement and relationship building
6. Must have experience in working with WordPress Content Management System
7. Graphic Design skills considered an asset but not required

Requirements

1. You should be a self starter, able to work independently and meet deadlines

3. Reviewing Research, Content & Marketing
   • Review Market Research
     • The MarketBase – Products & Places
     • The KnowledgeBase – Questions, Answers, Problems & Solutions
     • The FanBase – People
   • Review articles for styling, formatting, editing and fleshing
   • Review Content and Support Marketing
4. Publishing Content
   • Optimize articles for SEO purposes
   • Schedule articles for publishing on assigned website
   • Assign tasks for Content Marketing of Published Articles
5. Staff Management
   • Assign tasks to team members using Project Management System (PM)
   • Daily communication with team members via PM site and WordPress editorial management software
   • Produce editorial and task review videos to provide direction and feedback to staff
   • Weekly reporting on valuable metrics and actionable insights for fan engagement and website growth

Additional Information

This is a Graduated Employment INTERNSHIP that requires a passion for content marketing, tireless hustle, attention to details and the ability to meet all deadlines. We require a minimum commitment of 15-20 hours per week. The duration of the internship is for 3 months (unpaid). Potential for an additional 3 month (paid) job extension that will be discussed with short-listed candidates. If you are a student looking for relevant internship experience as a part of your college degree, we will work with you and your college program to ensure that you receive proper credit.
