Get coding with TechStarters!
Have you hit a roadblock in your learning to code journey? Want to begin coding, but don't know how to get started? TechStarters aims to provide a space for coders of all levels to come together, work on projects and chat. Join us at the Lighthouse Labs campus anytime between 6pm and 9pm for TechStarters Code Night!
We're going to start the evening with a 20 minute talk, topic and speaker TBA. We'll also have some alumni around to answer tech questions.
This is a casual, friendly evening where everyone is welcome. We encourage you to work on current projects, school work, explore free coding resources or just chat tech.
- Need some ideas on how to get started? Check out Lighthouse Labs' three free online-courses: HTML & CSS, Javascript Essentials and iOS Essentials.
- Looking to progress your coding? How to Learn to Code has some great resources for all skill levels.
If you're ready to take your coding skills to the next level, Lighthouse Labs' part-time Intro to Web Development and Intro to iOS Development courses start every 6 weeks. You'll learn the fundamentals of web or iOS development, how to communicate with a team of developers and have the chance to try building your own basic apps.
Want to pursue development as a career? Our Bootcamps run for 10 weeks and is the perfect starting point for a career change into development.
