Win tickets to Women in Leadership Foundation Gala, Nov 5th

Networking in Van are THRILLED to be providing the opportunity for two people to attend the Women in Leadership Foundations' 4th Annual SuperWomen & Friends Gala presented by Audi of Richmond on Saturday, November 5th at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.

We will give two tickets away, valued at $175 per ticket.

Women in Leadership Foundation is based in Vancouver but supports women across Canada through their mentorship programs, aboriginal forums and business luncheon series.  Their goal is to empower women to reach their professional potential. In the past ten years they have engaged with more than 16,000 women nationally.

We heart WIL (as they are affectionately known) for their fantastic mentorship program and their Sweet Talk Networking event which we blogged about a last month.

See all the details about the gala, here.

It's going to be a fabulous evening, marking WIL's 10th anniversary!  They have a great evening planned for 300 guests including a lively presentation by Catherine Runnals, Founder and President of brand LIVE, welcome reception performance by recording artists, Lindsay May, haute couture fashion show showcasing Jacqueline Conoir with designer Rozemerie Cuevas in attendance and fabulous live and silent auction items. Along with a delicious 3 course dinner of course!

My great-grandmother – had 6 children, her husband left her, so she decided to start her own business! in an era when women didn’t do ‘those things’ and that business is still running today (by my mom!!)

My friend Eleanor is an absolute superwoman. She has been going through a very long journey to have a child and broken all odds at just having her SIXTH miscarriage. She still hasn’t given up, even though she has encountered 2near death experiences during her struggles. All the while she
continues to give back to the community in her work with seniors. She is the strongest woman I know.

My sister – she is an outspoken advocate for women’s equality & recognised as a leader in her community. She’s not afraid to say what needs to be said and to make sure it is heard by those who need to hear it. She is empowering and supportive!
