On supporting women:  Margaret Mead said it best: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”. As soon as you add women to the mix, that statement becomes even more powerful. We've all seen the statistics showing how supporting a girl can change her life, her family, and her community. At a very basic human level, the ability to reach out and show love to one another is the most powerful impact we can have and supporting another woman will create a domino effect far beyond what we could even imagine.

Why Paulina is amazing:  Through YWiB, they bring together incredible young women and together learn how we can best support each other, how we can learn from our community, and how we can create the leadership and values change within ourselves, so we can change our communities and our worlds. One of our current campaigns for this is featuring women in our community that have shared their experiences and leadership with us, as well as featuring young women that contributed to building their lives with YWiB. You can check out their stories on YWiB's blog.

How to  help with women's empowerment: Start. No action is too little and no idea to simple. Whether you have an idea for running an event that you want to bring to the community (check our our my {YWiB} idea program here) or you want to get involved with mentorship, take the first step and reach out. There is someone out there that will greatly benefit from your story and someone has a story that they can share with you that will help you grow.
