We want to congratulate Jen Schaeffers (AWWW, thanks ladies!) for starting this website. What she has done has become a Connector. If you have read The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell (highly recommend!) you’ll understand the power of becoming a connector. “Connectors are social glue.” Gladwell says that you want to know them, or better yet—be one. This week, take a look at the folks in your network and be a connector. Connect two people who you know, but who don't know each other, but should. Do it again next week, and the week after.
Here is a link to Gladwell’s chapter on Connectors, Mavens and Salesmen from The Tipping Point.
While it’s nice that Amazon shares this content for free, buy this book. It’s one of the most influential business books of the decade.
Too busy to read? Buy audio books! They are more efficient than e-readers because audio reading is hands-free. Listen to them when you are in your car, work out, do housework or before you go to sleep. It’s wonderful to have someone read to you—it’s like being a kid again.
