Yoga for Homes Fundraiser – Vancouver BC
We are offering a special yoga class to raise funds to help build homes for families in need living in Zambia. The houses will be built by volunteers through Habitat for Humanity.
Can a yoga class help build a home for a family in need?
Yes with Karma Yoga, the yoga of selfless service. In line with the belief of being able to create a positive impact within our global community, in July 2019, my sister and I will be leading a team of 14 volunteers to Kabwe, Zambia through Habitat for Humanity to build 2 homes for families that have been living in unsafe deplorable conditions.
We will have a 1-hour yoga class that will be fun and suitable for everyone, and we are giving away some great door prizes and healthy treats. Come and join us and make a positive difference in families' lives for generations to come.
