Leadership is more about who you are and how you lead all areas of your life than a single momentous feat. From the boardroom, to the classroom, to the bedroom, to the rec room…we women are up to a lot. Let’s redefine Leadership to include the many ways we can build community and take leadership of being who we are here to be. Together and as individuals.
Join us at our first Women in Leadership Vancouver Chapter event.
What: A sea wall stroll with your WIL community followed by coffee and snacks at the WIL Vancouver Chapter headquarters in Yaletown. We be doing a draw for great prizes, including two tickets to any concert hosted by the Friends of Chamber Music.
When: 9:00 am Friday February 15th, 2013
Where: False Creek / Yaletown. We will meet on the sea wall where Davie Street ends. (Just past Marinaside Crescent.)
Why: To connect, to build new friendships, to network, to have meaningful conversations, to get outside and do something different, to do something good for ourselves, and to be in gratitude for our amazing lives in Vancouver.
Who: You, your friends, colleagues, and any babies or little ones who may need to ‘tag along’ so that you are free to join.
We understand the barriers to joining certain events for women who juggle everything from work, to health, to friends, and family! We will be offering childcare from 8:45 am to 11:30 am at the Roundhouse Community Center in Yaletown. Please let us know if you will be needing this in advance or if you would like more information.
Please just meet us at the Yaletown Seawall at Davie Street. There are no tickets for this event.
