Carving Your Path: finding or creating a workplace based on your values and passions, and creating goals to achieve personal and professional success- an evening with Andrea Scott, co-owner of skoah, and Deanne Schweitzer, V.P. of Global Brand at lululemon.
Time: 7:00-8:30pm (*)- please note only light nibble and drinks will be served- you may want to grab a bite before you come
Where: skoah Yaletown, 1007 Hamilton Street

Bring: your girlfriend, a notebook, and any goals (New Years Resolutions, anyone?) you may have that may need a bit of extra lovin’

Andrea and Deanne will share their stories of the lessons they have learned from their businesses and share advice they wish they had known when they were a 20-something year old.
meet Andrea- @andreascott
Andrea is the co-owner of skoah-a skin care product company which now has 8 locations in Vancouver, Alberta and the US, and plans for several more in the near future. A self described retail junkie, she is obsessed with all things related to the customer experience and creating amazing products.
Andrea has worked in the retail industry for over 20 years. Her experience includes working as the Brand Manager for lululemon athletica, and as the PR and Communications Manager for Grouse Mountain Resorts. She also ran her own PR and Marketing consultancy-Andrea Scott Ink working with independant retailers, Grip Limited and Happy Planet. Andrea is also the founder of the Hopeful Hand, a charity created through Skoah to benefit the parents of ill and terminally ill children at BC Children’s Hospital and the Alberta Children’s Hospital. In 2011,Andrea was a nominee in the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Awards.
Andrea lives in North Vancouver with her husband and 3 children, 4,2 and 6 months old. True to her competetive spirit, she is an avid runner, competing and placing in half marathon races. She also loves to ski, mountain bike and hike. Her passions include wine, spending time with family and friends and traveling as much as possible.
