Three Ways to Increase Customers through Rewards

Here are a few of Brian’s top nuggets of advice when it comes to advertising and interacting with the consumer.

  1. Reward your consumers BEFORE they buy. This simple action creates more than just an impression, it builds loyalty and CRM. Because people aren’t used to getting something for nothing, they will share this excitement with their friends and family and will remember you the next time they need your product. This also makes what is essentially an ‘ad’ a positive experience for the consumer.
  2. Respect the user (or consumer). Rather than trying to change the users (or consumers) behaviour in order to provide a reward, let the behaviour define what the reward is. People like to feel like they have earned the reward, even if it is by doing something they do every day anyway. And don’t make your reward look like an ad, keep it clean and positive.
  3. Find your brand’s ‘moment’ and own it. What everyday moment does your brand tie to? Is eat reading the morning news? Working out at the gym? Whatever it is, find a way to own it with a reward that fits the behaviour.
