Have you heard of Speed Dating? I’m sure you have and you know how it works. Well, we have taken that concept and applied it to networking for a fun and unique experience.
The Concept:
It’s simple You sit in pairs with 4 minutes to chat, pitch and impress. Then at the end of the 4 minutes, you move clockwise, and meet a different person. Repeat ! You will make 12 new contacts in just an hour, while honing your elevator pitch!
This is ideal for people who ever wanted to try speed dating or a new style of networking, or those of you shy and nervous about meeting new people in business, or if you are starting a new business or venture and want to practice your pitch.
The Agenda:
5pm to 5:45pm – arrive, check-in, mingle, drink, eat
5:45pm to 6pm – find your seat, grab a drink, make sure your business cards are ready
6pm to 7pm – Speed Networking: 4 min with a person, 1 min to change seats, meet 12 people
7pm onwards – stay, mingle and keep networking; talk to the other people you didn’t meet

Pink Elephant Thai has graciously offered 2 drink specials, one of which is their delicious Lycheetinis, for the event as well as an appies special so come early to get a bite and drink before we start.
