Come for an inspiring night with JCI Vancouver, featuring Kemp Edmonds and Andrew Lavigne, who will be presenting on social media for social change. An awesome time with familiar tweeps just hanging out together to support a good cause is also guaranteed. Do good, share, socialize.
This tweetup event is benefiting the Nothing But Nets project who’s mission is to bring Malaria to zero death by 2015. Malaria currently causes 200 million illnesses per year and kills 600,000 people – mostly children under the age of five. While Canada is not be affected by widespread malaria, 45% of people in the world live in countries that are. They need our help. Now.
The $10 will go directly towards the cause. Yes, with $10, or 3 coffee runs, you can help purchase and distribute one bed net and educate a family on its proper use.
