In today’s workplace, it is vital that companies support and respond to the diverse needs of its employees, encouraging them to balance the demands and rewards of career, family, community and personal growth. This panel will discuss what an innovative workplace looks like, the challenges that female employees are still facing today, and how we can support the advancement of women in business.
Janet Austin – CEO, YWCA Metro Vancouver
As CEO, Janet has overall responsibility for one of BC’s largest and most diversified non-profit organizations that provides integrated services for women and families and those seeking to improve their lives.
Kirsten Sutton – Managing Director, SAP Labs Canada
Kirsten has been instrumental in supporting the design and implementation of a number of the programs that have helped SAP’s innovative workplace recognition.
Evi Mustel – Owner, Mustel Group
Evi is the owner of Western Canada’s largest and widely known research companies. A familiar media personality, appearing regularly on Canadian television, radio and in newspapers, Evi is the Chair of the Women’s Leadership Circle with the Vancouver Board of Trade.
Anjana Moitra – Owner, Mori Consulting
Anjana has worked as a consultant in HR for over 7 years, recently starting her own successful consulting company while holding the role as Chair of the Coastal Vancouver Advisory Council at BC HRMA.
