Vol. 04 topic:
In 2009, the BC Cancer Agency launched the largest cancer prevention study ever conducted in the province – the BC Generations Project. Learn how they reached out to hundreds of thousands of people and recruited almost 29,000 study participants. Over 25 years, the project will track participants’ health and lifestyle to determine how environmental and genetic factors can contribute to cancer.
Presented by Alison Osborne (Monkey Hill Health Communications) and Dr. Marilyn Borugian (Project Director & BC Cancer Agency senior scientist), they take us through their journey from recruitment to retention.
About Evening Rounds:

The events will provide a space to inspire, learn and discuss the latest trends, successes and challenges in health communications and knowledge translation. Running on the third Tuesday of every month we aim to cover a wide variety of case studies and talks.
