Mini Doc 1 – Education: Learning to Lead, Orissa India

Mini Doc 3 – Financial Services for the Poor: Strength in Numbers, Africa
For more than 25 years, Phil Borges has documented indigenous and tribal cultures around the world. On this night we showcase stories of triumph of women who are change agents in their own communities.
Conversation is an integral part to any salon event.Organized salons are one way to reclaim the valuable art of organic conversation and an authentic way to uncover new movements; that can be forged through a collective collaboration.
This is why we pair up these short documentaries with a panel of speakers and interactive components of a salon, where the audience can engage, ask questions and learn more about issues we face here in our own community and globally. Speakers, short documentaries, draw prizes, a slient auction and a networking lobby ~ a night of empowerment.
