Are you ready to Run Up for Down Syndrome?
On June 2, more than 1000 participants will gather together at Simon Fraser University, to raise funds and awareness on behalf of individuals with Down syndrome. The popular Run Up for Down Syndrome, in its 17th year, promotes a healthy lifestyle and features a variety of children’s activities, fantastic prizes, great food – and, most importantly, tons of fun for people of all ages and abilities.
Run Up for Down Syndrome is hosted by the Down Syndrome Research Foundation, a Burnaby-based organization that empowers individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential as contributing members of the community. The Run gets bigger and better every year, and in 2012 more than $70,000 was raised for Down syndrome research and educational programs.
As a registered runner, you will be provided with a customizable personal fundraising webpage that makes it easy to ask friends and family to support you in your efforts. Participate as a family, as an individual, or as part of a team of 10 or more. The top fundraisers (individual and team) are eligible to win valuable prizes.
Run Up for Down Syndrome is presented by Euro-Rite Cabinets, and is sponsored by a wide variety of businesses. Click here to view our sponsors, or to explore sponsorship opportunities.
Thank you for running hand in hand with those on the lifetime journey of Down syndrome.
